Brazil's four winning goals were all created in the first half, each through the actions of Vinicius Junior, Neymar, Richarlison and Lucas Paqueta. South Korea scored a consolation goal through Paik Seung-ho's action in the second half.
This victory made Brazil qualify for the quarter-finals to face the 2018 World Cup runners-up, Croatia. Meanwhile, South Korea must be eliminated.
First round
