Croatia vs Morocco in the duel for third place in the 2022 World Cup took place at the Khalifa International Stadium, Saturday (17/12/2022). Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for Croatia in the 7th minute.The Atlas lions were able to equalize in the 9th minute from Achraf Dari. Mislav Orsic was then able to put Vatreni ahead at halftime thanks to his goal in the 42nd minute.
In the second half, no additional goals were created. Croatia closed the game with a 2-1 victory. This result ensured that they won third place at the 2022 World Cup.
